How to Apply

Kuwaiti students, children of Kuwaiti women, citizens of GCC countries, illegal residents and students who are not the children of Kuwaiti women, graduates of the unified system, religious institute, American high school, English high school graduates and those expected to graduate from them, can apply to the university electronically (graduates of schools in the State of Kuwait only) according to the dates announced by the Deanship of Admission and Registration by visiting the following website:

Admission Results

Admission results are announced using the latest means of communication and publication. Minimum admission percentiles for Kuwaiti students and children of Kuwaiti women in each scientific department, major, or program are also announced so that each student knows the basis of his/her admission. Students are informed of the dates for submitting their original documents required for admission approval and register for classes, as determined by the Deanship of Admission and Registration, by accessing the link below:

Kuwaiti Nationals

Includes Applicant of Kuwaiti nationality with valid identification card

Children of Kuwaiti Women

Includes Applicant of Kuwaiti women with valid identification card

Spouse of Kuwaiti Nationals

Applicants in this category compete for admission to all faculties of the university in light of the available seats

Gulf Corporative Council (GCC) Citizens

GCC nationals can apply for admission provided they have passed all years of secondary school in Kuwaiti high schools

Children and spouses of faculty members at the university

A letter from the academic staff department stating that the guardian or spouse is a faculty member at Kuwait University

Children and spouses of diplomats

Children or spouses of employees of diplomatic missions in the State of Kuwait with which it has mutual representation

Children of martyrs

Children of martyrs are accepted provided that the applicant has studied all years of secondary school in Kuwaiti high

Children and spouses of (academic support staff, language teachers, university staff)

Applicants of this category must have a minimum percentile of 75% for high school diploma in the scientific section or
